Another picture of the “Sidekick 2009” has found its way over the Internet. In our last post we titled it the “Sidekick LX 2009” but we can probably make a assumption that it will be called the “Sidekick Blade“, since that’s what the device has been codenamed. There is still quite some time before official word on pricing and a release date gets announced, but according to our sources it may drop in Fall 2009. Once again, here is a recap of the features; 3.2-inch WVGA display (854 x 480), a 3.2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot, 3G, easy access to YouTube, MySpace and Twitter, turn-by-turn navigation and video recording capabilities. Sidekick users should be excited.
Since our last post on the Samsung Memoir, details are becoming a bit more clear. T-Mobile has announced the official release date for the device which is set to drop February 25. The Memoir is going to be priced at $249.99 with a two-year agreement and customers who pick out a “qualifying” data plan will also receive a $50 mail-in rebate. Here’s a rundown of the Memoir’s features: 3G, GPS, 8-megapixel camera, Xenon flash, 16x digital zoom and has a full HTML browser, one-touch upload to various online photo galleries, and the ability to record up to 60 minutes of video.
Samsung has packed some pretty impressive features in their newest model called “Memoir”. The Samsung Memoir is a 3G touchscreen phone with a 8 megapixel camera with Xenon flash, 16x digital zoom, and GPS. The phone will run under Samsung’s Touchwiz user interface will offer amenities such as a full HTML browser, media player, and all the basics. The lack of Wi-Fi might disappoint many people but Samsung is making it up by integrating an easy way for users to upload their pics to Flickr, Kodak Gallery, Photobucket or Snapfish with the simple tap of the touchscreen. T-Mobile is expected to release the Memoir later this month.
