Ralph Lauren will exhibit his classic car collection in Paris this spring at the Muse des Arts Decoratifs from April 28 August 28. The exhibit, entitled The Art of Automobile: Masterpieces from the Ralph Lauren Collection, consist of 1938 Bugatti 57 SC Atlantic Coup as shown above. The Paris exhibit will focus on European models created between the 1930s and the 1990s, “illustrating the evolution of car design in the 20th Century.”
The RL Sporting Watch, inspired by the 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic coupe. The watch flaunts a beautiful outer dial made of elm burl, the wood type you will find on the dash of Lauren’s Bugatti. The matte black galvanic dial on the watch features Arabic numerals for increased readability. The watch’s arrow-shaped hour and minute hands move around an open railroad-like track.
