Porsche Design has come up with probably the costliest advent calendar in the world. Their new advent calendar is nothing like the typical one as it is made out of aluminum and stands 6 feet tall. The Porsche Design has gifts that correspond with each day on the run up to christmas. These are including niceties like a P’6910 mechanical stopwatch, a full P’7340 kitchen and, probably most impressively, an RFF28 “motor yacht” with a single 525-horsepower Mercury engine. The other days are marked by cuff links and pens and sunglasses dipped in 18k carat gold. Only 5 copies of this calendar are being made and are going for 1 million dollars.
Porsche Design and yacht builder Royal Falcon Fleet unveiled their latest project, a 135 ft. catamaran. The yacht has enough space to accommodate 10 passengers and 10 crew members and the interior sports a very modern, sporty and sleek appeal. The RFF135 will be equipped with twin V16 turbo diesel engines each producing a 4,600 hp. With a top speed of 35 knots it has a range of 2,000 nm. The RF135 is planned to launch by the end of next year and is expected to run for $58 million.
Porsche Design has come fourth with a Panamera collection inspired by the sporty four-seater. The Panamera collection extends out into luggage, watches, and clothing all coming packaged with the essence of the Porsche Panamera.
The AluFrame trolleys were designed to fit perfectly inside the luggage compartment of the Gran Turismo and other Porsche models. The hard-shell luggage pieces are made from aluminum and polycarbonate and come in three models which are available in different sizes and are done in the original Porsche exterior colors.
The watches come in black and shades of brown. The Chronograph Panamera for him and her and the Chronograph Panamera Turbo boast a stainless steel case with the signature Panamera logo.
Most of the items will be released on September 12th, together with the market release of the Panamera. Check out the rest of the collection below.
Porsche Design and Frechn cell-phone maker Sagem have teamed up to create a stylish candybar phone. The phone is carved from an aluminum block, and is equipped with features like a 5-megapixel camera, large 2.8-inch touch screen, GPS, WiFi, and a MicroSD fingerprint reader.
The P’9522 is expected to go on sale in France in November and is will have a price tag at about $865.
Porsche Design Group, will release their first fragrance called “The Essence” for Men that will debut this fall. The Essence, was developed jointly by the Porsche SE subsidiary and Groupe Clarins’ Parfums Azzaro.
