Fashion’s most elite have come together for a good cause. BBC’s Children In Need foundation has gotten 30 of the biggest names in fashion including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Burberry and Balenciaga to design a 24-inch limited edition Pudsey bear.
From October 24th until November 14th, All 30 bears will be showcased at Selfridges in London and Manchester. On November 15th, the bears will be auctioned off at Christie’s with all proceeds going to the charity.

Louis Vuitton is set to enter the fragrance industry. According to reports, perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud has been tapped as the head for the fragrance and will begin working on it starting in January 2012. WWD has the scoop on what we can expect from the scent. “Vuitton has recently been investigating rare, almost-extinct flowers in France that could be used as elements of its fragrance venture.”
Cavalier-Belletrud is known for being the man behind popular scenes such as L’Eau d’Issey, Jean Paul Gaultier Classic, Dior Addict, Poeme by Lancôme, Stella by Stella McCartney and Cinema by Yves Saint Laurent, and many more.
Louis Vuitton gives us an inside look into their innovative store architecture in a forthcoming book called Louis Vuitton: Architecture and Interiors. According to Elle UK, “Expect a tome filled with 304 pages of illustrations, architect’s sketches and interviews with store designer Peter Marino and architect Jun Aoki.” The book is set for release on October 4th and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.
Angelina Jolie has reportedly signed on to become the new face of French fashion house Louis Vuitton. According to E! News, the deal may have earned Angelina close to $10 million to model for a print-only campaign, which is scheduled to launch this summer.
LVMH unveils its recently acquired Princess Yachts brand to the U.S. with its new 32M Yacht. With a base price of $11 million, the 105-ft yacht features either 4 or 5 cabin options with interior design from various fashion houses incorporating the sensibilities of LVMH’s luxury background like Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Moet and De Beers.
