Designer David Cordoso created these renderings of a two-door, rear-engined Lamborghini SUV/ Crossover. Although, Lamborghini doesn’t have any plans on releasing an SUV anytime soon, Cordoso does a great job illustrating what one might look like.
Everyone has been talking about the new Lamborghini Insecta which is currently a concept, but much speculation is behind an actual release. The Insecta was designed by Romanian designer Iulian Bumbu. Lamborghini premiered its Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce at the Geneva Motor Show this week. The Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce is much lighter, powerful, and faster than its predecessors. It boasts an increase in power to 670 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque for Lambo’s 6.5L V12 engine. A “Aeropack Wing” is available for the roadster but will drag top speeds down from 212mph to 209mph. Turning heads at the Detroit Auto Show is a Custom Lamborghini Murcilago. Lamborghini launched its Ad Personam individualization program at the North America International Auto Show this week. The program allows customers to choose the exact colour and trim options to create a personalised Lamborghini.
The Gallardo’s seats, doors, pillars and headlining are trimmed in Nappa leather. The Murcilago uses Alcantara throughout the interior except for the suede-covered steering wheel. A variety of interior elements are finished in carbon fibre including the control panel for the air conditioning and the handbrake. Customers can choose to personalise the interior with a variety of colours including contrasting stitching, piping and different materials.
