Jay-Z Tops Forbes Hip-Hop Cash Kings List

Forbes has released its annual list of Hip-Hop Cash Kings, coming in at the #1 spot is Jay-Z racking in $63 million last year. I’m sure this isn’t surprising to many because he usually places in the top two consistently. Jay-Z also took the #1 spot in 2007 and 2009 and in 2008 he ranked #2 after being beaten by rapper 50-Cent. Check out the rest of the rappers who made the list below.

Tyler Perry Hits #6 On Forbes List

Movie mogul Tyler Perry has amassed a huge fortune putting him at #6 on Forbes “Hollywood Highest Paid Men” list. According to Forbes, Perry has earned $75 million within the past year. Currently, Perry is filming “Why Did I Get Married Too” with other films in development. Perry also made headlines recently for his good samaritan deeds when he took 65 children from a Philadelphia day camp to go to Walt Disney World after reading allegations that a swim club had turned the children away because of racism. Career Moves: Tiger Almost Hits The $1 Billion Mark

Golf champion Tiger Woods is on the road to becoming the first billionaire athlete, according to Forbes magazine. Forbes based their calculations on his estimated earnings from 1996, they said that Tiger should have earnings exceed $1 billion by 2010. Forbes said Tiger will be the only billionaire who’s made that money by playing sports. Tiger placed #2 on Forbes Celebrity 100 list this year with an estimated income of $115 million. Tiger took the beating by Oprah as she took the #1 spot on the Forbes list. Tiger has endorsement deals with Nike, Accenture, Buick and Gillette and a five-year agreement for his own line of Gatorade drink.
