R&B Hitmaker’s Chris Brown & Ne-Yo are working together to updateÂ Wrigley’s gum current jingles. Chris Brown will update the Double Mint jingle, while Ne-Yo will put his own take on the Big Red song.Â Wrigley’s will host a concert in New York on July 29 to unveil the new jingles. Radio station Hot 97 is expected to give away tickets for the show as part of the promotion. Â
It’s official Will Smith’s current blockbuster film Hancock has been doing excellent considering it just brought in $107.3 Million in within it’s first week according to The Associated Press. Since the release, the film has been getting mixed review from the critics, but still ended up bringing big numbers at the box office.Â
I just learned that Will Smith is otherwise known as “Mr.July”, because all of his movies come in at No.1 in July. Hancock is his fifth movie to open at No. 1 over the Fourth of July. The others were “Men in Black” and its sequel, “Independence Day” and “Wild Wild West.”Â Will Smith currently gets paid an average of $20 million per film.
Wyclef Jean recently took a group of foreign investors to Haiti in hopes to pour money into the local economy, which represents the poorest country in the Americas. In a statement to Reuters Wyclef said,
“I understand that there is a food crisis that needs to be addressed urgently, but at the same time donors need to inject funds in projects likely to bring sustainable results”
Wyclef has been on a mission to improve in agriculture, road projects and economic infrastructure of Haiti. Wyclef told Reuters, “Charity will never solve Haiti’s problems, Haitians want jobs, they want to develop their agriculture to produce food, not to everlastingly receive food assistance.”
