BGR has landed some serious info on the a new curve coming toward AT&T. The sapphire-blue AT&T 8320 is pretty much the same model that T-Mobile has been released. Only differences is that it will be running the brand new OS 4.5 and have a built in client for AT&T WiFi hotspots. It is expected to be released in the last week of September.
AT&T is releasing OS 4.5 for the 8120, 8300, 8310, & 8820. The downloads are set to be available from www.att.com/bbdownloads in mid-September.
BGR is taking another stab at a date for the BlackBerry Bold launch on AT&T. They recently got in touch with a pretty high source over at AT&T and triple confirmed the date. The tech blog has said the BlackBerry Bold will launch on AT&T on Thursday, October 2. Well, let’s see if this is really true because we’ve sure been waiting for it.
What feature on the Bold are you most looking forward too?
Not much has been released about the new Blackjack but some details have hit the scene over the weekend. BGR writes “The last child in the BlackJack family should be dropping on AT&T in October running a full version of Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional with a 3 MP camera, 528 Mhz processor, aGPS, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, and more.”
Does the BlackBerry Bold have competition?
Ludacris never fails to amaze me when it comes to his career moves. The rapper which is most known for his chart-toppers like “Money Maker” and “Runaway Love”, has landed a deal with US wireless carrier AT&T. The deal involves Ludacris, appearing in online and television ads to promote their services. The commercials will be hitting a tv screen near you starting next month. No word on how much he exactly got paid but it’s set to be in the multi-millions.
I always find it interesting how rappers remain to stay relevant without putting out a consistent amount of music. Ludacris is one of those guys where you might here him on a song or two, maybe even a remix, but every time you hear him he’s still on top of his game.
