Jay-Z Brings Sports Bar 40/40 Club to U.S Airports

Jay-Z and business partners, Juan and Desiree Perez have inked a deal with Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services in which the 40/40 Club may be put in as many as 20 major U.S airports.

“We are thrilled to partner with the 40/40 Club, to bring a stylish sports bar and lounge to airports across the country,” Robert Stanton, vice president of business development of Delaware North Companies, said in a statement. “From the personalized, one-of-a-kind jerseys on the wall, to every sports game you can think of on the television screens, the club will bring a new experience that we are sure travelers will welcome.”

In the first phase of the agreement, Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services will give travelers access to the elite, modern sports bar to watch the game of their choice in an opulent lounge setting, all without leaving the airport.

Career Moves: Jay-Z To Sell A Stake Of His 40/40 Club?

SOHH reports, Jay-Z is currently in talks to sell a stake of his popular Las Vegas night club 40/40 for a total sum of $44 million.

According to The New York Post, the iconic hip-hop superstar is currently speaking with Las Vegas Sands Corporation in regards to offering them a 50 percent stake of the club. An insider told The Post the deal could make Jay’s night spot a global attraction.

“That will make the 40/40 club in Vegas the largest sports booking operation,” the insider said. “People can gamble both at the tables and on games. The Sands will also have the right to open 40/40 clubs in London and across Europe.”
