Much to my surprise, Kanye West is looking to take a break from the music game to pursue his aspirations as a fashion designer. Kanye has decided to follow the likes of Louis Vuitton and Raf Simons as the celebrity interns for the two fashion powerhouses. According to The New York Times, “I was blown away from the planet when he told me,” Simons told Times. “I know he’s very serious about this — I don’t take it as a joke — but how can I imagine him being my intern? It’s a very extreme situation.”Â
On top of the world is where Kanye is at. With 6 Grammy nominations and having pieces from his Pastelle clothing line that will finally be going on sale starting in January. I can’t forget about the partnership with Louis Vuitton for a sneaker collaboration. Mr.West is definitely not throwing any opportunities away.
