Will Smith Is Back For “I Am Legend” Prequel

by Upscale Swagger on September 27, 2008

Will Smith is heading back to the theaters with a prequel to “I Am Legend”. Warner Bros. has stated they have signed on Will Smith for a prequel of last year’s film “I Am Legend”. Director Francis Lawrence will be returning back to the scene and Akiva Goldsman and James Lassiter will be also returning as the producers for the film.

The prequel will chronicle the final days of humanity in New York before a man-made virus caused a plague that left Smith’s character the lone survivor among a mutated mob in the city.
I Am Legend made huge success at the box office last year grossing $584 Million. Keep in mind the budget for the film was only $150 Million.

Great news I loved I am legend. Apocalyptic stuff intrigues me too, hopefully this movie will be just as good.

they never really expressed how the entire evolution happened. The Book is more in depth than the movie is. The zombies eventually hold a trial for him…
