As if things couldn’t move any quicker, T-Mobile & Google has unveiled their latest project. The T-Mobile G1 is set to bring tons of people to T-Mobile exclusively. The T-Mobile G1 has been the talk of the town due to it’s amazing features and powerful design.
The slide-out screen reveals the full QWERTY keyboard. The large sharp touchscreen, simple spaced out keys, and trackball makes this a really promising phone! The T-Mobile G1 has 3G, WiFi, and GPS. It also has a 3.1 mp camera, 5 hour talk time, 130 hour standby time, and space expandable up to 8GB via MicroSD slot.
Google has implemented a really useful feature where all your contacts, emails, appointments, and documents will sync to your Google account in a matter of seconds. The “App Store” has a fleet of applications that already have been made.
Google has announced the data packages for the G1. Surprisingly it’s much cheaper compared to the BlackBerry & iPhone data plans. T-Mobile will offer two data packages, a $25 plan which gives you unlimited data with “some messaging” and a $35 plan which is a unlimited everything plan.
The phone is available for pre-order today! On October 22 you’ll be able to pick it up at a T-Mobile store within 5 miles of a 3G covered area for $179 with a new contract.
