Phillips de Pury & Company To Showcase First Hip-Hop Jewelry Auction

Phillips de Pury & Company will be having their first auction of Historic Hip-Hop Jewelry. Pieces such as Lil Jon’s Crunk Ain’t Dead chain which has gained recognition by Guinness World Records as the largest diamond pendant will be showcased and offered. Other pieces from celebrities such as Biz Markie, Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, 50 Cent, Pharrell Williams, Mc Lyte, and Slick Rick will be presented at the auction.

The auction will be headed by Alia Varsano, Worldwide Head of Contemporary Jewelry at Phillips de Pury & Minyah Oh, aka Miss Info who authored Bling Bling: Hip Hop’s Crown Jewels. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Russell Simmons Rush Community Affairs. All items will be on display starting September 22 to 30 from 10am-6pm. The auction itself will begin on Wednesday October 1 at 8pm at 450 West 15th Street New York, NY 10021.
