Designer Tags: Burberry Eagered To Focus On Men’s Line

Burberry is looking to spend some extra attention on their upcoming Prorsum pre-spring collection. It will be the first time the creative director has done so for a men’s pre-collection and showed it to the press. Burberry’s Creative Director Christopher Bailey said in a statement, “Men’s has been a huge focus this year, globally. It’s almost a relaunch,” in reference to the high fashion of Burberry Prorsum. Bailey also made it known that things should run smoothly for the Prorsum line.

“We’ve figured out all of our manufacturing. I’m confident we have the right make and craftsmanship now, which is so important in men’s wear, and we’ve figured out the distribution and cleaned up all the past licenses. Our new ad campaign for fall has a big men’s emphasis as well,”
