Coming Down The Road: The 2009 Corvette ZR1

by Upscale Swagger on June 12, 2008

America’s foremost sports car is now a superstar supercar. The 2009 Corvette ZR1, with its 6.2-liter, 620-plus-horsepower V-8 LS9 engine, is the first production Corvette with a top speed greater than 200 mph. It is built on the same predominately aluminum chassis as the Corvette Z06 and features a similar independent front-and rear-suspension system. However, the ZR1’s wider front and rear tires have prompted alterations for the better. The Vette’s power to weight distribution ratio is reported to be better than the Porsche 911 GT2, the Lamborghini LP640, and the Ferarri 599.

No Official prices but reliable sources tell JustLuxe pricing is expected to be around $100,000.

It is pretty sick but I don’t know if I would pay $100,000 for it. I’d rather get something else for the price.

Yeah, it’s nice, but not $100,000 nice.
