Yves Saint Laurent Passes Away At 71

Legendary fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent has passed away today reaching the age of 71. It was confirmed today by Dominique Deroche, a spokeswoman for the Pierre Berg of Yves Saint Laurent Foundation, that he died in his apartment in Paris on Sunday.

Yves Saint Laurent began his career at the age of 21 in 1958, eventually becoming one of the masterminds behind Christian Dior. Yves Saint Laurent is considered to have one of the most influential careers in the fashion industry due to his sense of style that is largely responsible for changing the way modern women dress today.

I wonder if the line will flourish or diminish????

All I can say is I don’t think the next collection will be the same without his presence. In other words, I think it might diminish but not drastically.
