Victoria Secrets has partnered with The Collegiate Licensing Company to launch an exclusive assortment of collegiate co-branded merchandise. Victoria Secrets PINK will extend the PINK collegiate collection in Decemeber to incorporate some Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), including Florida A&M University, Hampton University, Howard University, North Carolina A&T State University, and Southern University. 

 The Victoria Secrets Collegiate Collection includes a variety of items, such as its signature fleece pants, hoodies, tees, and totes and will be available in select stores. Victoria Secrets PINK will have a selection online of items available for all schools.  If your school isn’t listed, don’t worry because Victoria Secrets PINK has plans to broaden the PINK Collegiate Collection to additional schools.

Diddy is making headlines just right before the year ends. Sean “Diddy” Combs and Ciroc Vodka have teamed up to make a offer to the city to remake the Times Square New Year’s ball and are willing to donate $1 million to charity if the proposal is approved. Diddy and Ciroc Vodka are looking to redesign the current ball and transform it into something similar to the brands blue circle. It still hasn’t been announced whether the city will go ahead with the proposal.

Saks Fifth Avenue has been more accommodating to its male customers these past couple of months by offering more men’s accessories to its department stores. Saks has taken the initiative and has dedicated three new shops to men’s accessories, the boutiques opened last month in Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, and Tysons Corner,VA. The retailer has already seen a positive impact on sales.

“It’s been a real home run for the business,” said Tom Ott, Saks’ senior vice president and general merchandise manager for men’s.

The largest shop is at 2,000 square feet at the company’s men’s store in Beverly Hills which opened on Nov 5.
